This program represents the vision, principles, and roadmap that my team and I are committed to delivering for FIDE and for the global chess community.

Our vision is simple: a stronger, more transparent, more democratic, and financially sustainable FIDE that works for every federation, every player, and every continent.

Most importantly, we have assembled a highly professional international team with the experience, expertise, and determination to turn this vision into reality.

In the coming days, I will introduce additional members of our international team. They represent different continents, generations, and areas of expertise, united by one common goal: to build one of the strongest FIDE leadership teams ever assembled.

We will work in the interests of every federation. I will dedicate all my experience, knowledge, and energy to supporting chess across the world. Our goal is not simply to manage FIDE—we want to modernize FIDE, make it more efficient, attract new partners, and create opportunities for every member federation.

We are not newcomers to chess. We have already invested heavily in its growth because we genuinely love our sport. We have organized world-class events, introduced new ideas, attracted sponsors, and demonstrated that professional management delivers real results. Now we are ready to bring that same approach to FIDE.

Since the start of our campaign, we have received endorsements from every continent. Our movement continues to grow because people believe in a united global chess family.

Together, we can unite all nations behind one common goal: bringing chess to the Olympic Games. Together, we will attract greater sponsorship, strengthen every federation, invest in young talent, support players, arbiters and organizers, and build a FIDE that is open, transparent, accountable, and focused on delivering results.

Our promise is simple: less politics, more chess. Less bureaucracy, more opportunities. Less division, more unity.

Today @WadimRosenstein was elected President of the European Federation of Mixed Martial Arts (EFMMA) and I was elected Executive Board Member and Treasurer of #EFMMA. With an initial budget of EUR 1 million in sponsorship, we are brining about a positive change to MMA in Europe and are starting the fight for Olympic recognition. Thanks to the founding federations 🇫🇷France, 🇬🇷Greece, 🇭🇺Hungary, 🇸🇰Slovakia, 🇹🇷Türkiye, the 🇳🇱Netherlands and 🇺🇦Ukraine for the trust and cooperation! 🇪🇺 Today, I was elected President of the European Federation of Mixed Martial Arts.

I would like to thank all our member federations for their trust and support. Having been involved in combat sports from a young age, I understand the discipline, commitment and opportunities they can provide. This makes the responsibility of helping to lead the development of MMA in Europe especially meaningful to me.

Our mission is clear: to unite and strengthen MMA across Europe while working tirelessly towards one goal - MMA becoming an Olympic sport.

Following the election, we held the first meeting of EFMMA with representatives from 🇫🇷 France, 🇬🇷 Greece, 🇭🇺 Hungary, 🇸🇰 Slovakia, 🇹🇷 Türkiye, 🇳🇱 the Netherlands and 🇺🇦 Ukraine. This was an important step in defining our priorities and beginning our work together.

We have already secured EUR 1 million in sponsorship dedicated to the development of MMA in Europe. These resources will be invested in strengthening our member federations, organizing premier European championships, supporting athletes and officials, and building one of the strongest continental MMA organisations in the world.

I am also pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Stafford as CEO of EFMMA.

We warmly welcome national MMA federations from across Europe to join our movement and help shape the future of the sport together.

Our official website will be launched shortly, where we will present our vision, priorities, projects and upcoming events.

Damyan is one of the most experienced strategic political campaign professionals in Europe, with an outstanding track record of successful election campaigns.

He has worked on campaigns across the European Union and the United Kingdom, including teams involving current UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer @Keir_Starmer and former Prime Minister Gordon Brown @GordonBrown, and members of the British and Scottish parliaments. He has also led four winning election campaigns in England, Scotland and Bulgaria.
