Hey EMS faculty & staff-our Chapter 6 #EMSOzStudy reflection starts NOW and will remain open until February 9th! Remember, you can also answer via our padlet. Here is question #1.
Q1: Take the Solve It quiz on page 128. Where are you good at "solving it"? Where can you improve?
A4: As mentioned previously, I need to stop swamping myself and ask for help. If I don’t do that, then I take on too much and blame my circumstances for my failures. #EMSOzStudy
A3: We need to properly teach our kids communication skills on how to properly deal with confrontation. Now that our kids work in pairs, we need to foster skills to deal with all personalities. #EMSOzStudy
A4: I try to recognize when I am falling below the line but I feel good about owning up to my mistakes. I do need to improve on wasting energy on areas that I cannot control. #EMSOzStudy
A2. We must all work together with our team for best results. Our students deserve it and we must work together to do what’s best for all our students. We should trust each other that our students are our #1 priority. #EMSOzStudy
A3: We can help students to take this approach by modeling it for them and guiding them through solving their problems as opposed to giving them the answers to everything. #EMSOzStudy
