The political map of Zimbabwe's urban areas is steadily evolving. Once regarded as impregnable opposition strongholds, constituencies such as #Mbare and #Epworth have increasingly become competitive political battlegrounds.
Following ZANU-PF's victory in Mbare during the 2023 Harmonised Elections and its continued success in Epworth, many observers point to the growing impact of infrastructure and community development projects being implemented under President @edmnangagwa 's administration. The ongoing rehabilitation of Mbare's residential flats, upgrading of market facilities, road improvements, housing projects, and community renewal initiatives are beginning to transform the everyday lives of residents.
For many voters, politics is increasingly being measured not only by promises and slogans but also by visible developments that improve livelihoods.
