Tomorrow church bells in France will fly to Rome and come back on Easter Sunday to bring chocolate eggs. That’s what Catholic 🇫🇷children are told, so hearing the bells ring again is a glorious sound. Lovely childhood memories for me.

I love everything about this gentle, naïve paintings for my #EasterSpringArt26, particularly the rabbits producing a chocolate masterpiece, the blue and white cup and the tulips floating in the spring sky.

Spring would not be complete without the sight of cute little lambs. Being an Aries I am rather fond of them and never eat them. So, for #EasterSpringArt26 here’s a flock of sweet ones and their mums.

I do like a good allegory and this one of spring as a beautiful woman disentangling herself from old branches and foliage and scattering seeds is perfect for my #EasterSpringArt26.

Combining #ScandiSunday and #EasterSpringArt26 I found this charming painting, in the style of Impressionists, of spring blossom which reminds me of my native Normandy and its abundance of apple trees.

On the run up to Easter I am posting spring/Easter based works of art like last year. Here is the 1st one with some of my favourite flowers which add a welcome splash of colour after winter’s grey days.
