Two minutes of aerial and land-based footage of the 65s Orcas that have graced Shetland over the last week. Amazing to film Ossa and her new calf exploring the shallows close inshore - behaviour we rarely see with very young calves. @whalesorg @Seasaver @mcsuk @saana_is #ecopreds
The final day on #Shetland has exceeded all expectation with a phenomenal encounter with this lone bull #Orca off the Out Skerries whilst out with the brilliant @ShetlandTours. Simply magic. Now to the pros to figure out which one he is #ECOPredS
First Summer ‘23 #ECOPredS fieldwork sightings in the bag! 🥳 A surpise visit from the 27s pod shorehugging around Sumburgh Head, venturing into West Voe and Bay of Quendale before heading out west. Fingers crossed they stick around and make another appearance soon 🤞🏻
