Not sure, at least in the short term landing into UK would do anything other than fill our roads with lorries and our air with diesel fumes.

• Allowing their acquired rights to run for their ultimate beneficial owners lifetime
• Tighten #EconomicLink so majority ownership is British & majority of catch is landed/sold in UK to deliver genuine economic benefit

@fishingforleave I fully support bringing control of our waters back to U.K. But can you tell me how we will get back the quotas sold by U.K. fishermen to foreigjn companies?
As #Flagships are registered here as 'British' they'll still be able to fish UK waters.
Inward investment is fine - BUT - it's why we MUST have a strong #EconomicLink to ensure they don't behave as fishing tourists but deliver major benefit to their host nation @michaelgove

Quick reminder, we are the only Country in the EU that allows Fishing quotas to be sold...we did that and now nearly half of them are owned between Spain, Holland and Iceland. We did that to ourselves...and BTW 29% are owned by Rich List Families...not quaint little fishing boats
