#EDTechMDChat A7: I have used https://t.co/nAiPDd1PRJ and https://t.co/uQcdbE9u1k for my ELA classes with success, along with YouTube and Google Forms. Have also taken advantage of my LMS (Schoology) 'discussion board' option and digital rubrics for grading and feedback purposes.

A6: My school can improve by mainstreaming the Ed tech sources. So many of our students have a google classroom, a canvas classroom, and other online classrooms which results in the students getting overwhelmed. #edtechmdchat

A6: More professional development, more training, and Mentoring. Mentoring is the greatest asset we have in my opinion. #EDTechMDChat

A6: We have a new math curriculum that doesn't have any technology integrated into any lessons. But the assessments are on an online, interactive platform. I guess I would like the county to work on this to make it more cohesive. #EDTechMDChat

#EDTechMDChat A6: I think mandating some form of training so that all staff are familiar with certain technology forms (powerpoint, google, etc.) would probably be helpful! My school has a lot of optional training but we aren't always all on the same 'page' so to speak.

A5: After looking into my schools technology program, I really love the amount of focus that they put on learning different applications and using the internet safely. I just wish we had enough devices to extend this to our classroom #EDTechMDChat

Q4: Technology has helped my students grow in their math and reading skills, by incorporating applications like ClassHero and Mobymax. My lessons are filled with engaging activities and the use of Kahoot. The kids are more engaged. #Edtechmdchat

A4: Technology has forced me to think about the different learning styles of my students. It is pushing me out of my comfort zone to make learning more interactive and engaging for them. #edtechmdchat
#Edtechmdchat A3: I have adapted technology in my classroom in many ways. First, students may use their computers to type instead of write or create powerpoints, use of virtual manipulatives, or use of learning centers (differentiated tasks).
@AngelaET630 #EDTechMDChat A3: Yes! I use technology in the same way, Angela. I've found that it provides a lot of choice for my students. Even first graders can make choices to either extend their learning or make the lesson better match their learning style.
A3: I like to work with technology that can be used in multiple ways. I love to use the website EPIC Books with my students because they can have a choice as to what they want to read, but they can also have the choice of if they want it read to them or not. #edtechmdchat
