#eIDAS 2.0이라는 규정에 따른 거예요.
근데 여기서 흥미로운 지점이 있어요.
설계 원칙 자체는 영지식증명 같은 '선택적 정보공개' 방향을 지향하고 있거든요.
필요한 사실만 증명하고, 원본 정보는 노출 안 하는 방식이요.
근데 실제로는요, 비슷한 초기 프로젝트가
블록체인·영지식증명 같은 검증 안 된 기술 때문에 기본 보안 요건을 못 맞춰서 폐기된 적이 있어서, 정작 지금 EU가 실제로 쓰는 기술 스택은 훨씬 신중해요.
고급 암호기술은 이후 단계로 미뤄질 가능성이 높다고 나옵니다.
EU가 원하는 방향(검증은 하되 원본은 안 남기는 신원인증)이 #piverify 가 이미 구현하려는 구조랑 개념적으로 같은데,
정작 국가 단위에서는 안정성 문제로 아직 신중하게 접근하고 있다는 거니까요.
이미 검증 인프라를 갖추고 실제로 돌려본 프로젝트랑, 이제 막 신중하게 첫걸음을 떼는 국가 단위 시스템, 이 간극 자체가 #pi 한테는 시간을 벌어주는 요인일 수 있다고 봅니다.
