Proving you're human shouldn't mean surrendering control over your digital identity.
We need open, interoperable identity infrastructure, not a world where a handful of companies become the gatekeepers of the internet.
That's what we're building at Solidus Network.
In 2024, an employee at engineering firm Arup transferred $25.6 million after joining a video call where every other participant was a deepfake. Since then, AI has advanced significantly and is making impersonation increasingly convincing, causing challenges for financial institutions in particular. As autonomous agents begin handling more financial activity on behalf of people, establishing an added layer of trust and security behind a transaction or sensitive conversation is becoming an urgent need.
Introducing @world_id for banking and finance, a suite of technologies that helps institutions establish trust through privacy-preserving cryptographic Proofs. World ID for Zoom lets meeting participants confirm they are the same Orb-verified human connected to their account, while World ID for agents allows AI agents to carry Proofs delegated by people. Bain Capital, OpenExchange, Outtake, Pantera Capital, and VanEck Funds are initial design partners, bringing World ID into some of finance's most consequential interactions.

KYC should establish trust, not create a centralized stockpile of sensitive data waiting to be exposed.
At Solidus, we're working toward a different model: reusable verifiable credentials, selective disclosure and user-controlled identity data.

🇹🇷 🚨 TURKEY: THREAT ACTOR CLAIMS FREE LEAK OF "TERA COMPANY" DATA, INCLUDING CRYPTO WALLETS AND KYC FILES
A threat actor on an underground forum claims to be sharing 12,566 files stolen from a company identified as "Tera" in Turkey, for free. The listing names "Gildencrest," the name of a UK broker publicly linked to Turkey's Tera Yatırım group.
The actor claims:
* Financial transaction data from Tera's UK company servers
* Access to a live crypto production system and hot crypto wallets
* A group cloud vault with 311 password keys, plus log servers
* A corporate server and 17 full databases
* 193,395 customer identity (KYC) document files
* 1,580,056 lines of European and Dubai bank transfers
* A 76,755-message Discord archive and an 893-person staff guide
The claim has not been independently verified, and the company has not confirmed a breach.
⚠️ Analyst Note:
KYC documents, bank transfer records and vault credentials are high-value material for fraud, identity theft and follow-on intrusions. If real, the claimed hot-wallet access would be an immediate theft risk. The link between the leaked data and any specific Tera entity is unconfirmed. We assess this as an unverified threat-actor claim, NOT confirmation of a breach.
