‼️The 🇺🇲#US Department of Justice has accused an American company of illegally exporting technology to #russia. The US Department of Justice has accused two top managers of the American company #Eleview International Inc. of exporting technology to #russia worth millions of dollars. The press service of the department noted that the owners of the company used three schemes to evade anti-russian restrictions. The accused face imprisonment for up to 20 years. The prosecution believes that from March 2022 to June 2023, by decision of Eleview International Inc., it sent American goods and technologies to #russia through the territory of #Kazakhstan, #Turkey and #Finland, bypassing restrictions imposed due to the war in #Ukraine. Thus, through Turkey, the accused exported telecommunications equipment worth about $ 1.48 million, "knowing that it was intended for a company" that cooperated with russian intelligence agencies, the US Department of Justice claims. Eleview shipped approximately $3.45 million worth of products via #Finland that could be used in drone production. $1.47 million worth of dual-use goods were exported to #russia via Kazakhstan.
