Palestinian journalist Mujahid Bani Mufleh shares an update on his recovery since his release in January 2026.
Just days after he was freed, he was found to have a cerebral hemorrhage (brain bleed) that put him in a coma. He underwent emergency brain surgery and has been recovering since.
Mujahid has type 2 diabetes and was subjected to deliberate medical negligence, given inappropriate medications, torture, starvation, and beatings.
