🚨 BREAKING NEWS: Russia has never been and will never be your enemy! We do not want European raw materials or wealth; we have our own. We absolutely do not need your raw materials. Russia is the richest country in the world in terms of raw materials. We want neither your land nor your territory. Look at the vastness of Russia on the map. It is twice as large as all of Europe. What good would your land do us? What would we do with it? Why do you think Russia is an enemy of Europe? What harm has Russia ever done to you? Have we sold you gas and raw materials at prices lower than those charged by your 'friends'? YES Did Russia sacrifice 20 million people during World War II to get rid of the Nazis? YES Was Russia the first country to help Europe during the COVID-19 pandemic? YES Have we helped Europe during fires and natural disasters? YES What has Russia done to them for them to hate it so much? Russia is not your enemy; your true enemies are your leaders, those who govern you. " President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.

Energy workers and rescuers have been working at the sites of last night's attack since early morning. Fires are being extinguished and debris cleared. Crews have already begun urgent repairs at the damaged facilities. Russia targeted energy infrastructure in Kyiv, Kharkiv and the regions with ballistic missiles. In the capital, all three CHP plants were hit. Russia also struck critical facilities in Kyiv region that supply power to the capital and central regions. Sadly, the toll from yesterday evening's strike on a high-rise in Kyiv has risen: two people killed, 25 injured. One more person was killed and one injured in this morning's strike on the capital. My sincere condolences to their families and loved ones. Railway facilities were attacked in five regions. Thanks to advance evacuation, no one was hurt. Repairs are underway. Thank you to the rescuers, police, medics and energy workers, and to everyone helping to deal with the aftermath and support people.

Overnight, the Russians used 39 ballistic missiles and more than 120 attack drones and loitering munitions against our energy and critical infrastructure in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and Kharkiv. A targeted Russian ballistic missile strike specifically against energy infrastructure – the very infrastructure covered by the ceasefire announced by the American President. The strike was entirely deliberate and demonstrative in its scale – Russia has never before shown such ostentatious disrespect toward the United States. Russia does not consider the American President’s statements strong. Unfortunately, at least 600,000 people are now without power. Outages could become even more widespread. Unfortunately, there is significant damage to facilities and equipment – at 26 facilities of our power system and four facilities in the oil and gas sector. I am grateful to the repair crews, all Ukrainian energy workers, and the personnel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for all their efforts to address the aftermath of this Russian strike. Tragically, there have been fatalities and injuries. We ask America and EVERYONE in the world who does not turn a blind eye to reality to respond – and to respond forcefully. Russia has squandered the opportunity for de-escalation and has clearly chosen to continue its insane war of annihilation. We ask President Trump to impose STRONG sanctions on Russia, especially since the Lindsey Graham bill, which was recently passed and signed into law, authorizes and regulates such measures. The American President has all the effective and necessary tools to bring peace closer through strength, justice, and pressure on the aggressor. We ask for additional packages of Patriot missile interceptors for Ukraine. It is entirely fair for us to tell the United States, Europe, and all our partners that no country in the world should be left alone to face such a deranged and pro-war actor as Russia. I am grateful to everyone who helps Ukraine! Peace can only come through strength, and we ask America to remember this principle of Reagan’s. Glory to Ukraine!
