Wonderful to welcome Ian Hislop and Dr Megan Cavell to #ExeterCathedral today! They dropped by to discuss some of the more bawdy Anglo-Saxon humour to be found in our famous #ExeterBook, for a new BBC Radio 4 series.
Yesterday the Cathedral Library & Archives brought the #ExeterBook of Anglo-Saxon poetry out into the Cathedral Nave for visitors to look at, learn about, and ask questions about it. Fun Anglo-Saxon themed activity sheets were also available for children to enjoy.
