Among newspapers, the Times of India topped the list, receiving ₹78.22 crore in government print advertising, followed by Dainik Jagran with ₹59.14 crore and Hindustan Times with ₹47.80 crore. The latest figures add to the government’s overall advertising expenditure. In an earlier Parliament reply, the Centre said it spent ₹5,987.46 crore across print, electronic, and digital media platforms from 2014-15 to 2024-25.
