Basta Maricel Soriano ang Famas Best Actress para sa Meet, Greet & Bye!💎⭐️ #FAMAS2026
Ms. Maricel Soriano undoubtedly deserve the 2026 FAMAS Best Actress award for her exceptional talent, remarkable versatility, and the depth of emotion she brings to every role.
Her extraordinary artistry is a lasting contribution to Philippine cinema.

The confusion surrounding the Best Actress award is disappointing & raises serious questions about the credibility and professionalism of the awarding body. An award to celebrate talent & excellence should bring honor and clarity, not confusion and controversy.

ERRATUM*
Maris unfortunately lost her bid for Best Actress, but the recipient of Actress of Distinction.
If we consider the best lead & supporting roles as major awards, this means McCoy de Leon is the first and only PBB alumnus to win a major acting award in FAMAS.
#FAMAS2026
Fun fact: Maris Racal is the first female and McCoy de Leon is the first male Pinoy Big Brother alumni to win acting awards in FAMAS.
Maris is the first regular PBB alumnus to win an acting award in FAMAS.

Genuinely confused about the "Best Actress with Distinction" award. 🧐 Some are saying it’s just a runner-up prize, which means no Grand Slam for Maris. Hopefully FAMAS clarifies what this category actually means! #FAMAS2026
This! Pero hindi din siya higher. Kumbaga different award siya. Ang point is both best actress of FAMAS. Ayoko namang umeksena sa mga comment sa fb, respeto na lang kay Inay. Pero to say runner up lang si Maris is not right. #FAMAS2026 #FAMAS #MarisRacal
So mga anteret, ang questionism ko lang naman, sino talaga ang Main Best Actress?
Yung isa ba dito runner-up lang or ang concept ay parehas Best Actress pero yung isa mas mataas kaysa sa isa OR tie ba itez? Pakilinaw FAMAS. Gawa-gawa kayo ng ganyan tas kami pa mag-interpret. 😂
MARIS | MCCOY | MARICEL | KARYLLE WIN ACTING AWARDS AT FAMAS 2026 https://t.co/ALxsvX5oyD via @YouTube #MarisRacal #MccoyDeLon #MaricelSoriano #Karylle #FAMAS2026
Gumawa pa talaga ng bagong award para lang mabigyan ng award. Although deserve naman din ng matanda sana binigay na lang dun sa bata kasi iba rin pinakita. Or mamili talaga sila ng isa. Or gawin na lng na tie talaga lol #FAMAS2026
LOOK: Maris Racal was awarded the 74th FAMAS Best Actress with Distinction for her performance in the movie 'Sunshine'.
Maricel Soriano was also awarded the 74th FAMAS Best Actress award for 'Meet, Greet snd Bye'.
It wasn't declared as a 'tie'.
Maris' award was labelled 'Best Actress with Distinction' and Maricel's was 'Best Actress'. This is the first time that FAMAS gave a 'Best Actress with Distinction' award.
