Wood: Summary of OIT efficacy:
Most pts can be successfully desensitized.
The desensitization is transient in most pts without ongoing exposure.
It is possible sustained unresponsiveness is more common in younger children #FAS2017
#FAS2017 Dr. Wood - reaction rates are relatively high with OIT, most mild, some severe, epinephrine may be used.
