In some cases,
Airlines will delay our flight, we are meant to take off by 7pm but we will be delayed till 7am but I don't see @FCCPCNigeria fining them, are we not consumers?
If the FCCPC's focus is truly on consumer protection, then why are local banks and telecom providers like MTN and Airtel suddenly develop network issues or transfers will hang and they are not facing similar scrutiny and heavy fines?
To enhance effectiveness, the FCCPC need to sit and collaborate closely with other regulatory bodies, such as @Nafdacagency, because why will Nafdac approve a label design for Coca Cola and FCCPC will propose to fine Coke for executing an approved label design?
Are they both working in secrecy?
Also, the $110 million fine that was paid by an international company to Tunde Irukera's FCCPC team them, did they share a vivid report on how that forex was spent and what it was spent on? the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, to address consumer issues across all sectors. This cooperative approach would ensure that all companies are held accountable and foster a fair, competitive market environment that genuinely protects consumer rights. God bless Nigeria.
