Latest retrospective study developed a cloud-based automated system using a stacking ensemble model to measure the disc–fovea angle (DFA) from #fundus images. In 682 images from healthy individuals and patients with #cyclotropia, the automated method produced DFA measurements comparable to manual analysis by examiners (7.25° vs 7.27°, p=0.52) but required significantly less time (0.43 s vs 15.8 s per image). Newest study developed a multidimensional deep learning model that combines #fundus photographs with RNFL and GCIPL thickness and deviation maps to detect primary open-angle #glaucoma (POAG). The model achieved an AUC of 0.970, outperforming unimodal imaging models and glaucoma specialists in diagnostic accuracy.
