I also want to draw attention to the may ways Covid is still affecting us today - from effects on health such as Long Covid to lasting financial and emotional strain, the impact of the pandemic is still being felt by many.
Expecting us to just suddenly get well and get back to work is ridiculous.
Until you invest enough in the research to cure #LongCovid I'll still be ill and I'll still be unable to work.

Labour's Peter Kyle talks about the need to get people with health problems back into work.
But no mention of those (like me) who would love to work but are too ill to do so.

Since I lost my job my 'work' is now mostly resting.
I have to rest for most of the day, punctuated by small amounts of activity.
A tiny bit of housework, a short listen to some music, some time on here, some time with the kids.
But mostly just resting.
