1) #Gattaca played out 24/7 through the month of December on all channels, until people agree never to buy #DNAtests as Christmas presents? 2) In the US, the first #FamilialMatching execution? 3) A coordinated campaign to educate the public & politicians, and to change the law.

What will it take before people realise that unregulated commercial exploitation of gene profiling is a terrible idea, and even more so when the State is a customer rather than a regulator?!

@yoda_your_data @neil_neilzone @EdinaRl Not a good idea. One of the particular characteristics of #genomic data is that it is (also) data about other people - I.e. your blood relatives. Still much to be worked out around this with regard to #consent, #FamilialMatching, etc.
