#FillinFriday Oh, my. ๐ Kinder self-portraits make me so happy. We started the final drawing by really looking at the shapes & lines that make up our faces. Next time we have art, weโll start painting the backgrounds using some unconventional painting tools. @lapelelementary
#FillinFriday 2nd gr finished their complementary color letter/word project this week. A few students didnโt need much time to finish, so I let them weave on the classroom loom. They really enjoyed this and asked where they could get their own looms for home! @lapelelementary

#FillinFriday Some Kinder classes had fun drawing their favorite subject - themselves! We looked in mirrors to correctly identify all of the shapes that make up our face. Kinder self portraits are just about my most favorite thing EVER! @lapelelementary
#FillinFriday (Thursday edition) 6th grade had a busy week wrapping up projects for the end of the grading period. Their weavings are finished, they created their own manga characters, and worked on an ongoing comic strip here and there since midterms. @lapelms
