Classic Limerick parking here at Mount Kennett Place, an area which appears never to have had a @LimerickCouncil parking warden visit it.

I see the standard Limerick on-footpath parking is already back in vogue.
#FixLimerickParking, obvs.
As one of the traffic wardens said to me one day, these hoores know they’ll get away with it as the wardens return to base at day-end.
Park Where You Like Sundays in Limerick continue to be an unqualified success for people who like to park where they like.
I remain unwilling to stop anywhere in the city centre for any length of time lest someone park in or on me.
In me would be awkward.

@CommanderCronin @MacL0ve @LKCommuters @JLeddin @LimerickCouncil @fixlimerickbus @GardaTraffic @jamesjcollins @BadgerAndDodo @DublinCoach1 In town on day 269, of course the entire bus stops are full as far as the eyes can see.
Joint task force and #OpenCity my bleedin’ hole, obviously.
I cannot believe members of the Transport SPC accepted that the city is making progress.

I don’t know what sort of arrangement foothpath-parkers in Mount Kennett Place have with @LimerickCouncil that enables them to park across the entire path but, as it’s the norm there, it’s probably just as well that it isn’t like that across the whole city.

How do we change this culture that we can park when we like and not worry about the consequences? #fixlimerickparking @IrishPedestrian @JLeddin @DanielButlerFG @GardaTraffic @gardainfo
This is just a stones throw from City Hall @LimerickCouncil it's after hours now, so now the @GardaTraffic should be stepping in and issuing tickets until we get our own LSPS #RutlandStLk #fixlimerickparking
Was at the pedestrian meeting last night and it didn't surprise me to see this on the way to the car (yes I drove) sorry about the image quality but parked on double yellows on a corner. @LKBlockers #fixlimerickparking
Little William Street on this bank holiday Monday is an unusually-spectacular fuck you to pedestrians, even by Limerick standards

#NothingToDoWithUs
We all know that pithy enforcement of parking regulations in Limerick results in people blocking footpaths & blocking roads.
Have four examples from this afternoon.
(if we’re going to count days, this is day 1 of #NothingToDoWithUs in the annals of #FixLimerickParking)
Limerick City really is the pits on Sundays. The 301 bus had to stop in the driving lane as the bus stop outside the Augustinians was full of parked cars. Absolutely ridiculous @fixlimerickbus @LimerickCouncil #fixlimerickparking @GardaTraffic
@fixlimerickbus @ORegan_Frank @LimerickCouncil Yeah I saw two on Wickham/Parnell St. today. They do exist. But I also saw @gardainfo walk past three illegally parked cars on the footpath on Mallow st and didn't even get his ticket book out. #fixlimerickparking
If @LimerickCouncil want to #FixLimerickBus (and, for kicks, #FixLimerickParking), they have to do that.
Otherwise they're just doing the parking equivalent of putting 20 cents on the price of a pouch of tobacco. Handy revenue stream but doesn't change behaviour.
@MacL0ve @LimerickCouncil @fixlimerickbus @JLeddin @GardaTraffic @jamesjcollins Day... Christ, I'm running out of fingers... day 140 since a new era of parking regulation was announced by Limerick Council to #FixLimerickBus by ticketing bus stop blockers and maybe even #FixLimerickParking.
At least this is all consistent & predictable, I guess.
@meanderingtripe @LimerickCouncil @fixlimerickbus @JLeddin @GardaTraffic Was this today or yesterday? Don't you know the rules of the road don't apply to Limerick City on Sundays and Bank Holidays! @JLeddin #fixlimerickparking this is setting a precedent for the redevelopment of O'Connell st @jamesjcollins
Someone's getting a ticket today @LimerickBad @fixlimerickbus #fixlimerickparking while across the road someone parked up in a loading bay without a care and isn't loading. There's a serious abuse of loading bays in the city as well as Limerick bus stops @LimerickCouncil
Just saw a car (motorist) get a ticket #fixlimerickparking
Why can't people park properly on this stretch? @LimerickCouncil you'll have to extend the footpath here. It's not a problem though on the block before it so i don't know why they do it on this block #fixlimerickparking
@meanderingtripe Should have said Day 121 #fixlimerickparking #FixLimerickBus this 304 had to disembark in stopped traffic as two non-buses were parked in the bus stop
