For me, one of the key graphs of our times: the slow decline of benefits - and thus the lives beneficiaries can enjoy - compared to the rest of the population. Note that the decline due to not linking benefits to wages - under Labs and Nats both - is *greater* than 1991 cuts.

Here is a thing I find absolutely sickening, & yet another example of the horrific culture at WINZ.
My Mum literally was at death’s door four weeks ago. They discharged her to go home from Middlemore last week, with strict bed rest orders. She can’t drive. She can barely walk.
