Community-Led Heat Mapping Campaign: #FocusGroupDiscussions
As part of the community-led heat mapping campaign in Surat, a series of Community Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) were conducted across six heat-vulnerable neighborhoods. These discussions aimed to gather residents' perceptions and attitudes toward heat and heat stress, identify recurring challenges, and explore existing coping mechanisms within the community.
This campaign marks a significant step toward building climate resilience by amplifying the voices of communities most impacted by extreme heat.
