Indeed the corpus is funding an already well funded #for_profit set of entities. While not for profit #universities and #research_labs continue to struggle. Eventually we'll lose talent, along with the already lost funds. I don't see the logic. Can somebody could explain? 💬

Why do people think that the huge corpus promised in the #interimbudget for private sector research is a big boon to science in India? Science and technology are linked, but not the same. There is no alternative to #basicscience research.

If #universities estd by parliament as centres of excellence #notforprofit are being subjected to 18% #GST same as #for_profit entities then so should religious institutions. Why only exempt them? @nsitharaman
