To clarify👉Govt funded more to #DFG for #Adaptations but this does NOT CHANGE THE NEW ARRANGEMENT of grant in a range of housing associations whereby in feasible houses,wetrooms are being refused repeatedly causing a devastating GRIDLOCK+Great Distress &downplayed by #ForHousing

#CRDP24 #DefendOurRights Balcony on current compact care flat, a flat too small which I was forced to take reluctantly no choice, I had to downsize TWICE for #ForHousing and I COULDN'T sleep in bedroom of this careflat for 2 YEARS‼️No space to unpack and not helped to unpack for very prolonged + I HAVE HAD TO LIVE APART FROM MY PARTNER FOR 3 YEARS SO FAR for the wet room when we lived in a feasible property of ForHousing’s. My partner John Owen remained at the feasible house of ForHousing's in Eccles whose hostile and unfavourable #adaptations staff kept refusing me recommended wet room multiple times over 6 Years - at least 14 times refused it when in a feasible property??? VERY VERY NASTY ESPECIALLY FOR A WOMAN a wetroom is important. While under our noses ForHousing INSTALLED WET ROOM NEXT DOOR FOR NEIGHBOUR IN IDENTICAL PROPERTY The new arrangement of the grant has been greatly distressing it was a nightmare for me and they have moved me 4 Times now, it HAS LEFT A MARK ON MY MIND A distorted account was given about my case by one of ForHousing's directors Nigel Sedman to @MancWorldUK two years ago now @NigelSedman SHAME ON YOU FOR THE DISTORTED ACCOUNT YOU GIVE ABOUT ME. HOW DARE YOU ATTEMPT TO DEFLECT THE BLAME ON TO ME? 😂 DON'T YOU SPEAK LIKE THAT OF ME. Your own policy states the adaptation should be done within 9 months & Equality Act states for "Favourable treatment" from service providers towards Disabled service users. I TOLD YOUR STAFF VERY CLEARLY but you repeat LIES. IT WAS ME WHO "IDENTIFIED" ALL 3 TEMPORARY PROPERTIES OF YOURS MYSELF & I HAD TO COMPLAIN FOR THESE REPEATEDLY TO DIFFERENT PLACES ‼️ & My MP @KeeleyMP wrote TWICE to you 2017 & 2018 approx requesting you assist, again left very prolonged. The Equality Act states when the Disabled person asks for assistance they MUST be helped but you & your horrible adaptations staff again REFUSED to install the recommended wet room in a feasible property When I asked to just view bourke careflats, the job was passed back to me to sort by a worker who your company since promoted to #adaptations manager now 😂 a woman who DENIED ME WHAT IS MY HUMAN RIGHT IN A FEASIBLE PROPERTY REPEATEDLY & VERY PROLONGED ! & Wet room at bourke been NOTHING BUT TROUBLE also and was left UNFINISHED for me CONSIDERABLY to finish‼️ WHERE'S THE MEDIA ??? 😂 @DeclanGCarey @Victoria_Spratt @johnpringdns
