یہ آج تک کی سب سے عجیب، سنکی، غیر ذمہ دارانہ اور گمراہ کن پریس کانفرنس تھی۔ قانون کی حکمرانی اور سپریم کورٹ آف پاکستان کا احترام نہ کرتے ہوئے وقت کا انتخاب بھی بالکل غلط تھا۔
بنیادی مقصد:
1. سپریم کورٹ آف پاکستان پر دباؤ ڈالنا۔
2. سوشل میڈیا پر کارکنوں کو ڈرانا دھمکانا۔
3. فوجی اسٹیبلشمنٹ کی مایوسی کو دور کرنا اور اعلیٰ طبقے کے اندر اندرونی تقسیم کو ہوا دینا۔
4. 9 مئی کا ناکام بیانیہ بچانا۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔
5. آئی ایس آئی اور PDM-PPP سیاسی جماعتوں کی طرف سے انسانی حقوق کی خلاف ورزیوں کو چھپانا۔
6. مسلح افواج کے اہلکاروں کو 9 مئی کے فالس فلیگ آپریشن پر کسی بھی منصفانہ رائے سے ڈرانا

1. 9 مئی کا بیانیہ ناکام ہو رہا ہے، اور عاصم منیر کی قیادت میں اسٹیبلشمنٹ اسی دن پنجاب رینجرز/ ایف سی/ پولیس کے کردار کا جواب دیئے بغیر چند اعلیٰ فوجی افسران کو قربانی کا بکرا بنا کر اس پر پردہ ڈالنے کی کوشش کر رہی ہے۔
لاہور کینٹ کی حفاظتی فورسز کہاں تھیں؟ بیرونی چیک پوسٹوں پر تعینات پرائیویٹ سیکیورٹی گارڈز کہاں تھے؟
انٹیلی جنس ایجنسیوں کی ناکامی کا کیا ہوگا؟ آئی جی پنجاب کی پریس کانفرنس، سی سی ٹی وی فوٹیج اور آئی ایس پی آر کی پریس کانفرنس میں تضاد کیوں ہے؟ زمینی حقائق اور بتائے گئے اعداد و شمار پر رائے کے شدید اختلافات تھے۔
تمام صوبوں کے آئی ایس آئی اور ایم آئی سیکٹر کمانڈروں کو پولیس/سول آرمڈ فورسز کے ساتھ بروقت معلومات شیئر کرنے میں ناکامی اور ان کی اپنی کارروائیوں پر برطرف نہ کرنے کا نوٹس لینے کی ضرورت ہے؟ عاصم منیر کے فالس فلیگ آپریشن پر پاک فوج کے اعلیٰ افسران کو قربانی کا بکرا بنایا گیا ہے۔ برطرف افسران کی انکوائری فوج میں موجود عاصم منیر کے حامی گروپ سے تعلق رکھنے والے دو منتخب میجر جنرلز سے کیوں کروائ گئی؟ 2 لیفٹیننٹ جنرلز کے ذریعے کیوں قانون کے مطابق انکوائری نا کروانے کی کیا وجہ ہے؟ میجر جنرلز اور لیفٹیننٹ جنرل کو میجر جنرلز ہی کیسے اور کس قانون کے تحت جج کر سکتے ہیں؟
2. آئی ایس پی آر نے عمران خان کو اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ سے گرفتار کرنے کے اشتعال انگیز طریقے اور مجرموں کے خلاف ایف آئی آر درج کرانے میں چی�� جسٹس اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ کی ناکامی کی وضاحت نہیں کی۔
ڈی جی آئی ایس پی آر بھی اشتعال انگیز گرفتاری کی وضاحت کرنے میں ناکام رہا اور بعد میں اماراتی شاہی خاندان کی سخت وارننگ پر اسٹیبلشمنٹ کی جانب سے چیف جسٹس بندھیال سے مداخلت اور عمران خان کی رہائی کا ذکر کیوں نہیں کیا گیا؟
آئی ایس پی آر نے ان میں سے کسی پیش رفت کا ذکر کیوں نہیں کیا؟
آئی ایس پی آر نے عمران خان پر قاتلانہ حملے کا ذکر کیوں نہیں کیا؟ 9 مئی کے بعد ملک بھر میں میڈیا تین دن سے زیادہ کیوں بند رہا؟ سوشل میڈیا ایکٹوسٹس کے خلاف کریک ڈاؤن کیوں کیا گیا جو اپنے اختلاف رائے اور آزادی رائے کا حق استعمال کر رہے تھے؟
3. آئی ایس پی آر عمران خان پر قاتلانہ حملے کا ذکر کرنا بھی کیوں پسند نہیں کرتا؟ ارشد شریف کا قتل اور عمران ریاض خان کے اغوا اور لاپتہ افراد کی فہرست میں ڈالنے میں آئی ایس آئی کا کردار۔
آئی ایس پی آر نے 9 مئی کو شہید ہونے والے بے گناہ مظاہرین کا ذکر کیوں نہیں کیا؟
4. دبئی پلانز کے مطابق PDM-PPP کا مشترکہ منصوبہ عاصم منیر کو آخر میں فارغ کرنا ہے۔
5. آئی ایس پی آر عاصم منیر اور آئی ایس آئی کی طرف سے نصب کردہ ڈرائی کلیننگ مشینوں کا جواب دینے سے قاصر تھا جو پی ٹی آئی کے کسی بھی رہنما کو پریس کانفرنس کر کے کیا جا رہا ہے اور بغاوت، غداری، اور پتہ نہیں کیاکیا الزامات سے رہائی دے دی جاتی ہے! بس ایک پریس کانفرنس۔ آئی ایس پی آر پرویز الٰہی اور پی ٹی آئی کے سینکڑوں رہنماؤں کو جعلی کیسز اور ایم پی او کے تحت م جیلوں میں ڈالنے پر جواب دینے میں کیوں ناکام رہا؟
6. کیوں آئی ایس پی آر، جے کے ٹی کی زیرقیادت استحکام پاکستان پارٹی (آئی پی پی) کی حمایت کرنے کے اپنے کردار میں اتنا بے حس کیوں تھا؟ مصطفی کمال کی پی ایس پی کی طرح یہ منصوبہ بھی ناکام ہونے کے بعد آئی پی پی کا مستقبل مایوس کن ہے۔ کسی مرحلے پر اب یہ سوچا جا رہا ہے کہ اگر جے کے ٹی اور علیم خان کو مستقبل کے سیٹ اپ میں کچھ اچھا حصہ دیا گیا تو آئی پی پی کو دوسری جماعتوں میں ضم کر دیا جائے گا۔ آئی ایس آئی اس پولیٹیکل انجینئرنگ کو کھلے راز کے طور پر چلا رہی ہے اور اس کے باوجود آئی ایس پی آر نے انتہائی معصومیت سے کام لیا اور جواب دیا کہ پریس کانفرنسیں سیاست دانوں کا نجی معاملہ ہے۔ شرم مگر انکو نہیں آتی

If you travel by air a lot, beware of over friendly chatty seat neighbours.
The older lady comes and sits next to me inside the plane. She asked me to help her put her bag in the overhead luggage compartment. But a gentleman sitting across quickly came through. (I am not very tall and the overhead luggage compartment is something I try to avoid at all costs).
Immediately she sits down and strikes up a conversation. She was very pleasant and well spoken. So we chatted all through the flight to Dubai.
Suddenly, when the pilot announced that we were now proceeding to begin our descent into DXB, my good friend 'developed' stomach pains. Me with my good heart, I pressed the stewards button, and the stewardess came to find out what the problem was. I told her my seat mate was not feeling well. And this lady, she suddenly began to address me as 'my daughter'.
The stewardess told me that there was nothing they could do except give her some painkillers and wait until we landed. The pilot announced that we had a medical emergency on board and advised us all to stay calm. My new friend was crying and sweating like crazy. And she refused to let go of my hand... everyone assumed we knew each other.
So we landed at DXB and the same gentleman who helped put up her luggage in the overhead compartment removed her luggage. But as he removed the luggage, he advised me to distance myself from this lady and make it clear to the cabin crew that we were NOT travelling together. He was a godsend!
So indeed, the cabin crew came and asked me if we were related, I categorically told them we had met on the plane. I didn't know her at all. So we began to deplane and as I said goodbye she kept begging me to carry her handbag. I was so torn... but the gentleman looked me in the eye and emphatically shook his head. He passed me a note telling me to let the cabin crew handle her.
So I exit the aircraft and leave my 'new friend' to wait for the wheelchair and be handled by the cabin crew feeling very guilty.
As we waited for our luggage to come through, I hear this commotion. My 'new friend' was running, trying to escape the cabin crew, having gotten out of the wheelchair! She left the stewardess with her handbag and just ran towards the exit with the rest of her hand luggage! Luckily the airport police were faster than her. They got hold of her and brought her back in handcuffs.
This lady starts calling out to me.. my daughter... my daughter!.. how could you do this to me..... that's when I caught on. She was carrying drugs and she was trying to implicate me!
Luckily for me, the gentleman who had helped her with her luggage came forward and told the airport police that me and her had just met on the plane. The police took my passport and asked her to reveal my full names if it was true we were travelling together. By God's grace, I had not even told her my first name! I was still asked to follow the police to a little room where I was questioned extensively. Where did I meet her?... where did I board... where did she board. Etc... And my luggage was extensively searched and dusted for fingerprints.
They dusted all her luggage and my fingerprints were not found anywhere on her luggage or on her handbag!
I was let go with advice never ever to touch anyone's luggage either in flight or at the airport. So from that day, I don't care how much luggage you have, you will deal with it yourself. I will not even offer you a trolley to put your luggage on! Your luggage... your problem.... is my policy. And if you can't reach the overhead compartment, and I am the nearest person, please call the cabin crew because all I will do is give you a blank stare and then look away!
A lesson to glean therein for intending air travelers.
