Talbot made a photograph negative on paper known as Photograms, within a Camera Obscura. The frame was one-inch square and was of a latticed window in his home known as #LacockAbbey. #FoxTalbot

#FoxTalbot's Mousetrap - Invented in 1835, it featured a removable paper holder and a hole fitted with a brass cover through which one could check for proper focus and exposure.
Circa 1840 -- Two early box cameras, known as Mousetraps, designed by Henry Fox Talbot and named by Constance.
These are the type of camera used by Talbot to produce some of his very first photographic negatives.
She is the first to illustrate a self-published book entirely with photographs.
Along with Constance Fox Talbot, Anna and Constance are considered the first female photographers. #AnnaAtkins #FoxTalbot
