Josh Frydenberg was out of his box and shamelessly foghorning on the new RW voice for the coalition - the abc - trying to score political points for the coalition by blaming Albanese for the Bondi shootings. As ridiculous as that sounds, it gets even more bizarre with coalition shill 3AW Neil Mitchell floating the idea that Frydenberg could make a comeback and save the Liberal party via his “strong” leadership skills. Skills so strong in fact Frydenberg lost his seat in the 2022 election and still hasn’t gotten over it. After this most recent fiasco of desperate 24/7 snark via the RW sycophancy it would be doubtful that the Liberals would be able to find Frydenberg a single safe seat. It is also doubtful that Frydenberg’s ego could take another drubbing. Frydenberg will likely choose to emulate John Howard and squark from the sidelines when the opportunity presents itself. The worst part about this is the desperation of the Liberals to find something - anything - to cause political mayhem for political opportunism. It is a sad indictment of who they are and what they have become that they would use this tragedy for their own political enrichment.
