I was at TorontoWesternHospital. Their on-site @ShopprsDrugMart sells COVID tests (RATs).

Life is never dull in @fordnation. Free rapid tests again at Shopper’s, but a staffer told me that they’ll be charging for the tests starting next week. Worth a shot to try and grab a few free boxes while you still can!
3 years later and Ontario’s #FreeTheRATs is still a mess.
We stopped at a Shoppers in East Van to ask today, no dice - they aren't carrying them this year.
They told us to check London Drugs, which we did - they have the blue box Artron, but it didn't look like very many.

Early in the pandemic, frequent testing helped us understand and slow the spread of COVID-19. In 2024 we know more about the virus and how it spreads. Most of us have either been immunized or had the infection – or both. And we know what to do to do if we feel unwell with respiratory symptoms.
Now, the strategy has changed and have moved to a “test to treat” approach. Most people don’t need a COVID test, but those at higher risk may still need to test to get the right treatment.

As I’ve said re: vac’n as well, @PublicHealthON @fordnation CAN’T tell me with any certainty how “at risk” my family or I are. They CAN’T say how many infections we’ve had. They CAN’T say how many anyone else has had either.
