@RodgersChad Innovation class. Students as entrepreneurs. Learning the struggle and discovering their passions.
I miss you all. Your thoughts, cards, gifts, and prayers mean more than I can say! ๐ #GCEdge #bleedpurple
@RodgersChad A4 I probably reach struggling learners the most. @quags51 and I always joke weโd be invited to the Bottom 10 Percent every year if it existed #GCedge
Q5) Hmmmm.... If I could teach my class any way I wanted, I would have a team teacher that could give more individualized instruction without losing full band instructional time. More time on task = more individual learning. #GCedge
@RodgersChad Q5) I would love to have more open studio time. In fact I love it so much I offer it after school for interested students #GCEdge
A5: no grades, longer periods with more time for in-depth learning, labs, and enrichment #GCedge
@RodgersChad A4) I think I reach those less motivated. I have learned so much the last few years once I was willing to open my mind and understand individual circumstances #GCedge
A3) #GCedge I didn't want to end up literally digging ditches and roofing houses with my old man. My options were to do well in school or spend my life in Owen County working in the weather. At some point, the college experience took over, and my motivations became intrinsic.
Q3) Regardless of your description, what motivated, caused, or sparked you to learn?
#GCedge
@RodgersChad A3) Intrinsic motivation. I was, and still am, very competitive. I am also a perfectionist, although not as bad as used to be. These qualities made me want to always do well, and still do. #GCedge
@RodgersChad Q2) I was a visual learner. A teacher pleaser (duh right?) but I also went above and beyond (competitive much?) #gcedge
@RodgersChad A.2) I am a visual learner, but I love taking noes and making lists. So I'm concrete random. #GCedge
If I had a magic wand, I wouldn't be here. Death to Voldemort and then cure cancer. #gcedge
We should count the number of days Ss ARE NOT testing
#GCEdge
Q2) If you could classify yourself as a learner (when you were a student), how would you describe yourself?
#GCedge
A1: students have more options for career certifications and on-site training. State laws governing edu treat all students like they are going to pursue a 4-year degree. #GCedge
