Scrounged around in my stash to find some more Vincent fabric. Made some more masks for one of the urchins.
She gets lots of positive comments of the original mask.
I think the fabric remnants are at least 10 years old. They were just big enough to fit the mask pattern.
It's nearly Sewing Bee time! I'm cheating for this week's #GKLSB. I've been knitting a Klein bottle which is a hat but also a mathematical toy. Then I got given another project with a deadline. So...Here's one I made earlier 😂 this one is just a toy, a prop for #mathscraftnz

Reminder to self: use a walking foot to machine baste the quilt, you're much less likely to have to unpick it, and if you do it will be easier 🤦♀️

This week I'm starting the pattern I've had for ages but got no further than tracing out, an Oversized Shirt with pockets 🤩 Fabric is a linen , which amazingly I have matching thread and sufficient buttons for. Hoping to put some embroidery along the back yoke #GKLSB
Couldn’t start anything else til we all had enough masks. But I have at least bought all the zips I need and found the pattern I drafted for cushion covers for my swinging chair. #GKLSB
Made two masks for a friend’s 11 yo daughter who actually loves wearing masks with fun colours and that should be rewarded and two from the damaged tablecloth’s hem motifs for myself and another friend. I am so in love with these masks, can’t wait to wear mine. #GKLSB
