Our Senior Economist, Dr @PindiririCarren, recently presented the paper "Revenue mobilisation or demobilisation?" The fiscal costs of monetary and exchange rate policy distortions in Zimbabwe at the Economic Development Conference in Africa conference at the Centre for the Study of African Economies, University of Oxford. This paper was written by Jimmy Psillos, the Chairman of the CZI Macro-Economic Committee, Victor Steenbergen, and Dr Carren Pindiriri, and was previously presented at the Zimbabwe Economic Development Conference (ZEDCON), an annual conference of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, Zimbabwe. @ZimTreasury
Dr @PindiririCarren and Dr @CorneliusDube, our Chief Economist, also undertook strategic engagements with key global institutions during this visit as we continue to strengthen the CZI Industrial and Economic Research (CIER).
