I had to take the train to work 4 times this week; 4 times I was late despite coming to the station early enough to get a train that was supposed to take me to work 45 minutes earlier than needed. Sure I got refunds, but my employer isn't happy. #GNRailUK #GNFail

I count at least three broken down trains on the TL-GNER network today causing chaos. New trains and routes have done nothing to improve reliability. In fact it seems to be worse. This follows overrunning engineering this morning and broken power cables yesterday. #GNFail

And now it’s been cancelled. No train to Gordon Hill for another 45 minutes so have to catch the tube and then a bus and then walk for 20 minutes. In the rain. Unreliable and extortionate service. Utterly unacceptable. @GNRailUK #gnfail

My goodness @GNRailUK why are you so incapable of having enough staff working at weekends? Trains cancelled galore and stuck outside FP waiting for the driver to turn up. It’s just unacceptable #gnfail

Weeks ago, one of @GNRailUK drivers pointed the new trains out to us, set to replace trains currently used on the line which look older than me. Today my journey has been affected by 2 broken down trains. Now over an hour late home. Can't we just start using the new ones? #GNFail
