Like other kids he waits in line for hours to bring drinking water back home, unlike other kids he does this by crawling through the dirt on his knees due to a deformity of his legs that he was born with. We asked Wissam’s father how we can help, and it turns out that he does not get much support. The Sameer Project team returned with everything his father asked for and some additional treats for Wissam. We supplied a large thick winter blanket, a mattress and pillow, a large food parcel with sweets and treats, and clothing for Wissam. The total including 11% commission fees was $205.
