Of the 73,000 deaths claimed by Hamas, some 18,000 were 'natural deaths' [average: 7,000 per annum] and 25,000--30,000 were combatants [some dressed in jeans and called ''civilians'' and some under 18 and called ''children''], which leaves around 25,000 civilian deaths - a far cry from 'genocide' !!
At a ratio of to civilians to combatants of around 1:1, Israel's record beats the performance of any military in urban warfare, which is a huge tribute to the care Israel takes to avoid civilian casualties - some genocide !!
And then, of the 20,000 jihadi rockets fired at Israel, 2,000 -- 4,000 fell back on Gaza and they would have destroyed so much and killed so many [remember the Al Ahli hospital with just one such jihadi rocket killed 50 ??]
What this means is that it is likely that Israel actually killed far far fewer civilians than the numbers claimed by Hamas and parroted, recklessly and irresponsibly, by so many in the media.....
