🔥Market Maker Bots Are Now Open-Sourced 🔥 We've had a lot of questions lately about liquidity providing and our plans to increase it. To address this liquidity challenge, we have developed market maker bots (MMBs) that will work in tandem with our Smart Order Routers: MMBs will continuously place buy and sell orders at different price points, creating a more liquid and efficient trading environment. These MMBs are now open-sourced, so this tool will be in the hands of the community. 🚀 Market maker bots are for Liquidity Providers (LPs) that are tired of losing out because of Impermanent Loss on DEXs that utilize AMM pools. 📊 Market making strategies are what is commonly used in traditional finance to maintain liquidity on a CEX and allow LPs to earn yield on their liquidity. 🧠 Market making is significantly more capital efficient since your liquidity is concentrated at the market price, instead of spread across the entire price range like an AMM. As a liquidity provider you also no longer have to be exposed to both sides of a token pair. For example, in an AMM pool you must supply 50% of token A and B and the smart contract of the pool is forced to sell the appreciating token for the depreciating one to keep the 50-50 worth relation between both tokens. That's why one experiences Impermanent Loss. The current AMM rewards models for LP are not sustainable, and farming rewards often fail to compensate for the losses. Market making Genius on Genius Yield’s DEX is much more flexible and allows LPs to have full control of their risk and reward potential. 1) Provide one-sided liquidity: configure your bot to only sell or buy token A, you don't need to get exposed to the other token if you don't want to. 2) Maintain a BUY/SELL spread: Set your BUY orders always lower than your SELL orders and grow your liquidity via arbitrage (not possible on DEXs that use AMM Pools!) 3) Custom MM strategies: Create your own strategy such as DCA, and trigger trades based on financial indicators. Active LPs will be able to outsmart the market and generate gains while feeding the order book with liquidity to regular users. 4) The ADA within limit orders remains available for both voting and staking with an SPO.
