Respected authorities, @AuswaertigesAmt @GermanyinPAK @Bundestag
Hundreds of students have lost their first semester due to growing visa delays. Thousands of careers and dreams are at risk.
I am enrolled in a TU9 university and still waiting since 20 August

A year after the portal’s launch, we are still losing one or two intakes due to delays. We have invested significant time, effort, and finances to apply, yet are on a waiting list for 7+ months. We respectfully request timely processing. #GermanStudyVisaBacklog @GermanyinPAK

Its February 2026 now, and July 2025 students are still waiting. Most universities won't wait for a year for Pakistani students to get their visas. How long should we wait? #GermanStudyVisaBacklog @GermanyinPAK @HRK_aktuell @dw_politics
Since July 2025, students have been waiting for their turn to submit the application. Yet the process is very slow.
Many of us left our jobs in this hope that we got our visas on time and we'll continue our classes. @GermanyinPAK Madam, please visit the Islamabad Embassy once.
@GermanyinPAK @SKMCH We students highly appreciate your good work, and we are also hopeful that you will resolve the embassy waiting issue. because its casuing huge acedmeic lose for hundreds of students

@GermanyinPAK Dear Ambassador, We respectfully urge your assistance in clearing student visa backlog. Despite depositing blocked amount of €12153, our studies are at risk of jeopardizing with summer sem classes approaching. Your urgent attention is needed in this matter! #GermanVisaBacklog
@GermanyinPAK Somehow, I don't doubt that today's discussion was really 'interesting'.
But sadly, it only confirms that students visa applications are nothing more than an "administrative burden" on the embassy.

@GermanyinPAK I have been waiting for a study visa appointment since October last year but Embassy is currently catering to July applicants, I'll be wasting another semester & its contribution if the same pace continues. We kindly request you to look into this as well. #GermanVisaBacklog
The digital portal for German Visas from Pak was apparently introduced to speed up the process, but the embassy is still processing July 2025 applications, nothing would work if inconsistent work continues. #GermanVisaBacklog @dw_politics @HRK_aktuell @GermanyDiplo @GermanyinPAK
@Ahsan997343 @AuswaertigesAmt @GermanyDiplo @GermanyinPAK @JMWiarda Please give us a permanent solution, this unpredictability is very stressfull. @GermanyinPAK @AussenMinDE #GermanVisaBacklog
We need a permanent solution for this; processing applications thrice a week then a break for so many days is not adequate for a waiting list comprising 1000's of students. Please speed up this process. #GermanVisaBacklog @GermanyDiplo @GermanyinPAK @AussenMinDE @derspiegel
Waiting since 18 august. 12000 euros in blocked amount. 1700 euros wasted for winter semester 2025. 1700 more committed for summer 2026 and still no work as of yet this week. The german dream is starting to feel like a delusion. Please tend to the students!
@GermanyinPAK
Embassy really needs to speed up the process, there are thousands of students waiting, with no clarity. #GermanVisaBacklog #FairVisaGermany @GermanyDiplo @GermanyinPAK @HRK_aktuell @derspiegel
🚨 German Visa Reality in Pakistan:
• Processing: July 2025
• Me: Waitlisted Jan 2026
Backlog is 6+ months. I'm forced to skip my intake despite valid admission. We need a solution.

@AbdulManan89355 @GermanyinPAK @AuswaertigesAmt We are in so much stress #GermanVisaBacklog I wish the embassy speed up the process and clear July applications ASAP.
We request the authorities to start visa processing at a suitable pace that can cater to thousands of visa currently on the waiting list, including me. All my study plans are at a halt. Kindly speed up the process. #GermanVisaBacklog @GermanyinPAK @dw_politics @MIshaqDar50
My humble request to all the authorities is to speed up the visa process. My university is not allowing me to join the classes after 30 april 2026. I left my job just because I was sured to get an appointment on time. @AuswaertigesAmt @GermanyDiplo @GermanyinPAK
2/2: The current working pace of the Islamabad Embassy is not adequate to cater to 1000's of students in time & my Summer semester is also at risk, I'll be wasting another semester's contribution as well. Please accelerate the process. #GermanVisaBacklog #FairVisaGermany
@GermanyDiplo students are missing out on their university time. So many undergrad students with big dreams who have to now wait an indefinite amount of time. #GermanVisaBacklog
I joined the waiting list on July 21, 2025 & after 7 months I'm still awaiting response. My university has stipulated that I must arrive by April 7, 2026 or I’ll have to wait until summer 2027. I'm feeling the pressure kindly request an expedited process
@GermanyinPAK @JMWiarda
@SanaAmjadbz @GermanyinPAK @JMWiarda This is such a difficult time for students. @GermanyinPAK Please help us students to reach in time. Everyone has invested their all into Germany!
