💥 Another fantastic Girls Into Coding event took place yesterday! The afternoon was packed with AI, robotics, and 3D printing activities. Our Girls Into Coding Community showed great engagement, creativity, resilience, and brilliance during their workshops.
The girls had the opportunity to listen to inspiring talks from Israa Alkatip and Shruti Beezadhur. Shruti is a member of our GIC girls' community. Israa discussed the various engineering paths one can take and the roles engineers play in different fields. She shared insights from her own experiences and those of her friends and colleagues, emphasising the essential skills engineers require and how they can cultivate them from a young age.
A special mention goes to Shruti for delivering an inspiring talk! Her tech journey left a lasting impact on the girls and their parents. Despite it being her first time speaking in front of an audience, Shruti was exceptional.
We extend our thanks to @WCITLivery for their invaluable support towards our mission, as well as to the mentors, volunteers, girls, and parents who participated in the event. A big thank you to @SpartaGlobal for hosting the event, and a special shoutout to Gaia Caruso for her warm welcome and assistance throughout the day.
We also had a lovely visit from Keshon Smith of the @Coop_Foundation Future Communities Collective who had the opportunity to see our Girls Into Community in action!

Thank you,@toyota_tweet for sponsoring & hosting yesterday's hands-on Girls Into Coding Event, where we launched our Reduce Waste Through Tech workshop, recently developed with the support of @OctopusEnergy , whose support has been invaluable.
Our Girls Into Coding Community were engaged, creative, resilient & brilliant throughout their workshops. The Girls also enjoyed inspiring lightning talks from Tajinder Jagdev, a female industry champion from Toyota Connected & Kira Pattinson, from FILL REFILL CO , and even got to apply some circular economy principles with environmentally kind products from Fill, using automated refill stations which they built & coded.

💥 We had an extraordinary day at our Girls Into Coding event on Sunday! It was a huge success and we are still excited about the amazing atmosphere.
The girls enthusiastically participated in hands-on technology workshops where they dived into robotics, artificial intelligence, engineering, coding, and physical computing. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and it was a joy to witness their potential and what they accomplished together. 🎯
👏🏽 A special shoutout to our dedicated team of mentors and the inspiring guest speakers Raman Rai and Zoe Ciccardini, who is a member of our Girls Into Coding community! Raman discussed the positive and negative aspects of AI, while Zoe shared her adventure in male-dominated activities. (She is a Chelsea FC Academy Player ⚽️).
The girls were captivated by their stories, insights, and advice, which seamlessly transitioned into a fantastic Q&A session.
