I am 100% convinced this approach (devised by @carldhalluin and myself around 2012, then further refined and in use at @Scality since 2015) would streamline @kubernetesio development. DM me for a pre-print PDF of the paper if interested!

Trying to get a bugfix into #Kubernetes confronts me again with how fundamentally broken trunk/'main'-based development with backports is when multiple stable branches are to be maintained. With #GitWaterFlow we 'fixed' this many years ago: https://t.co/rSxuBWg2R0
