What can I do with my real Christmas tree?
You can take your Christmas tree to your Household Waste Recycling Centre.
If you have a garden waste subscription you can chop into twig size pieces and place in your green bin.

What can I do with my used plastic or metal chocolate and biscuit containers?
You can use them for storage or check if any local community groups can make use of them.
Please donโt put them in the blue bin as this will contaminate the recycling process.

Why can't I recycle glitter covered greetings cards?
These type of cards are unable to go through the recycling process. But, you can tear the card in half and put the non-glitter part in your blue bin and save the glitter side for making gift tags next year!

Why can't I put foil or shiny wrapping paper in my blue bin?
This type of wrapping paper cannot be mulched so is unable to go through the recycling process.
A quick tip .... scrunch up paper into a ball, if it stays scrunched, it can probably be recycled.

Elf has been working flat out to get the cardboard boxes ready for recycling. Don't forget to remove plastic packaging and tape then flatten your boxes down before you recycle them! ๐ฆ โป๏ธ ๐ ๐
