Took a bunch of old cars and thru them in the woods around putt putt and pitch and putt courses. Then remodeled the actual course. Definitely has potential to be a top Charlotte area contender after the legit practice area is finished.

A couple of years ago a few @NASCAR drivers bought a golf course. Took a bunch of old cars and thru them in the woods around putt putt and pitch and putt courses. Then remodeled the actual course. Definitely has potential to be a top Charlotte area contender after the legit practice area is finished.

Aeration season so I only got on one course, luckily it was the one I wanted the most. Really great layout, one of the better ones I've played. Course was in pretty good shape, minus the fringe, that was bad even for muni standards. A staff member mentioned the course quality has been slowly going down since the new owners took over a few years ago, just milking the money and not investing into the course like they should. Shoutout to @AmericanExpress, @MarriottBonvoy, and Patty at The Manor for getting the greens fee covered and just paying the cart fee.

Great staff, amazing views, 10 minute tee times. Aeration season so I only got on one course, luckily it was the one I wanted the most. Really great layout, one of the better ones I've played. Course was in pretty good shape, minus the fringe, that was bad even for muni standards. A staff member mentioned the course quality has been slowly going down since the new owners took over a few years ago, just milking the money and not investing into the course like they should.

The course pretty much lived up to the hype, sans pace of play. Almost 5 hrs on a mid-morning weekday round and running late on the tee sheet really ruins the experience. I tried to be forgiving with the bunkers going from drought to a few days of heavy rain washing them out, but my buddy said they're usually good so. It's on the shorter side, and even fairly open; but good bunker placement, fantastic green contours, and elevation with water make the course a good balance of fun but challenging.

Open with some water but mostly need to watch out for the million bunkers. Pretty big practice area, with grass. Nice, newer clubhouse, with a good but small pro shop. Odd they close the grill at 5pm on a Sunday tho.
