Oops! Busy day, no lunch, was a bit peckish and then.....I saw this lying on top of the basket of cheese haul cheeses, I am sure it said, eat me, eat me. So I did.
#GroovyGoat. It was.
I don't cut up the #GroovyGoat very often, but I did today to make sure that it was still OK and in all honesty I wanted to check how easy it was to cut and how it tasted. Spot on! I will include some in the next few cheese packs if anyone fancies trying some.
Will get a few more occupants as we progress through the rest of January, a slow and steady build up to ensure that cheeses are matured gradually.

Blue mats and shelves scrubbed, did not take long to dry.

The grand unrobing of a #GroovyGoat! In its jim-jams, then gently unrobed and finally cut up. Quality control purposes, you understand and also winging their way out to pastures new in #cheeseboxes.

Some new #GroovyGoat in the making; just found out our old cloth bandage supplier has found new owners be able to source more new cloths which is great news for the lovely people there & us!
These little beasties will be ready for the C word that isn't cheese and is in December.

It has been a maturing room sort of day today. Chatting with the cheeses, rubbing and turning them. They all like a gentle tummy rub and they fall back asleep very quicklyafterwards. I wonder what they dream of. #GroovyGoat #GoudaGold

The natural progression of a #GroovyGoat from a week old to almost mature to how it looks out if its bandages. Cloth bound cheeses can be pretty high maintenance beasties, they require a lot of attention. In the maturing rooms this afternoon.
One of the challenges that cheese makers face is knowing how much to mature in time for the Ch word.
Am starting to mature more stock with the hope that we will have enough and not too much.
The Goatisans are very excited as this is more young cheese to lead astray. #GroovyGoat
Time to call it a day, I think. Some before and after matured #GroovyGoat cheeses to show how they change and acquire their grooviness.

Oh dear, their Groovinesses, the #GroovyGoat are still waiting to ho back in their maturing room. I have been having a bit of a cleaning and tidying spell. A few went away to new homes this afternoon so that caused some excitement. This is what they look like inside.
