CCS will soon give an approval of 13,500 crore to IMRH (Indian Multi role helicopter) and DBMRH (Deck based Multi Role Helicopter) IMRH is intended for the IA/IAF and aim to replace the aging fleet of Mi 17. It has an MTOW of 12.5 tons and payload capacity of 4 tons and it will be able to carry 24 troops with the max range of 800 km. DBMRH is intented for thr IN. It wil have a MTOW of 12.5 tons with a payload capacity of 3.5 tons with range of 800km. DBMRH will be able to fold its blade to better accomodate itself on Aircraft Carriers and IN ships. DBMRH will also have multiple variants for Anti Submarine, Anti Surface and AWACS roles
