Best Senate action 2025 - adjournment. #HB397. Georgians are still waiting for common sense election reform. We remember Sine Die 2022 … SB98. I have a picture of the despicable last Senate vote under Lt Gov Geoff Duncan Sine Die 2022 . Legislators literally hid under their desks on the last vote - an orchestrated parliamentary motion so no one would be on record voting against election integrity. I had legislators calling me defending their “confusion” on the vote. At the ropes throughout the day, So many promised they would vote for an EI bill. In the end, it was an orchestrated scam. Look at the Board - “NO” was the correct vote. Look at the “no votes”and “yes” votes - it tells the story the AJC will never write. https://t.co/2yd9f2ph9e

Enjoyed meeting with leadership from @intel today at my Statehouse office to talk about their huge expansion into Ohio. @GovMikeDeWine recently signed my #HB397 which was amended by the Senate to include $85 million for roads, water, sewer for the project.

Another one of my bills has now passed both chambers. #HB397 began as a farm leasing bill, and now includes a number of other policy changes to benefit the ag industry, a land conveyance to help Fairfield County, & important $ to begin the process of bringing Intel to Ohio.

Listening to @OhioFarmBureau give great testimony in support of my #HB397 to improve the agricultural leasing process. It will reduce litigation, it mirrors farm-friendly bills in other ag states, and it helps farm families.
