#HB71 violates Idahoan’s First Amendment Rights to freedom of speech, expression, and constitutes illegal viewpoint-based regulations and infringement upon medical ethical duties and professional speech.
#HB71 infringes upon the Due Process rights of parents, also protected under Idaho Code 32-1011, to the “fundamental right to make decisions concerning their childrens’ care, custody, and control.”
#HB71 violates the Equal Protection and Due Process as it seeks to punish good faith medical providers for providing potentially life-saving care.
Thankfully, we still have Constitutions that were adopted to protect Americans and Idahoans from exactly this type of government overreach and tyranny. #HB71 targets and discriminates against vulnerable children and teens on the basis of medical disability and gender.
