Looks like a nice renderer using #hiprt and #orochi Physically based monte carlo path tracer written with the HIPRT and Orochi. HIPRT is #AMD equivalent to #OptiX. It allows the use of the RT accelerators of RDNA2+ AMD GPUs and can run on NVIDIA as well https://t.co/gRUynVivun

We often use 2 level #BVH for #raytracing. Maybe it's time to add more levels as we are in 2024. Multilevel BVH is added in #HIPRT. Also now #PBRT works on #AMD #Radeon #GPU (using HIP) too. The image below is rendered on #Navi31 GPU. Great job #HIPRT team.

Using a #raytracing library #hiprt fora non-rendering purpose. Good to see #hiprt makes it so easy to write an #SPH fluid simulation, which I worked a long time ago. It was very challenging when scattering operations can be done by vertex shader writes. #radeon #hip

Images for #HIPRT tutorials were missing which we just fixed. 03_custom_intersection is using a custom intersection code for sphere so there is no triangle at all. 08_multi_... is using 2 different intersection functions, sphere and 2d circle. https://t.co/12olW0y5Xr
