Going through some old Q&A’s for Robinhood Here’s an answer from CEO Vladimir Tenev about adding new features This could be a small clue in what to expect for Hood week Tax lot and Dividend tracking could be coming soon per Vlad 🪶 Tax Lot selection is helpful for lowering tax liabilities Here’s an example: you buy a stock at $10 last year and $20 this year and you sell some of that stock at $25 You can select tax lot for $10 for taxable gain of $15 Or you can choose tax lot for $20 with lower capital gains of $5 This will be next level for Traders in taxable accounts to manage tax efficiency & tax loss harvest 🪶 Dividend Tracking could bring us a dashboard of calendars, projections and customizable ways to manage pay outs and ex dividend dates.
