@USEmbSL @DCRGunawardena Sri Lanka is accused of committing mass atrocities in UN reports that were supported by the U.S. Due to SLs responsibility for the crimes and their continued rejection of accountability, international justice is sought. US must consider #TamilAmericans concerns raised in #HRes413

@USEmbSL @DCRGunawardena #TamilAmericans are deeply concerned that the U.S. Embassy RT’ed the SLFM’s stmt, rather than pressing the #GoSL on the lack of justice and accountability for the genocide against Tamil People. Centering American values in US-SL engagement is why #HRes413 is so important.

(2/3)This response from the #SriLankanState indicates the importance of #HRes413 and the need for #internationalaccountability for grave violations of human atrocity in the face of domestic impunity. #TamilGenocide https://t.co/FpKzmJPTiM
