Unexpected workers in the walking area! Bumped into Trail Rangers Garry and Hannah today whilst on my monthly Trail check. They were strimming and cutting and I was litter picking (surprisingly little - only a San Miguel and Tango bottle of note) and mole hill spreading. #HWpath

Day 3 of #hadrianswall - 23 miles from Gilsland to near Chollerton. It rained all day however @Elzedee and I managed tea with the Queen, the Sycamore Gap, and to go over to he highest part of the wall. Visited #housesteads fort. #hwpath #northumberland
